Other than a brief video showing off the Galaxy Ring, Samsung didn't share any more about the Ring. For example, the company didn't say when the device would be released or how much it would cost.
But it wouldn't be much of a surprise to see Samsung jumping into the ring... If CES is anything to go by, it already looks like this is the year of the smart ring. And there have been potential clues that the Galaxy Ring may be coming soon. Last year, Samsung reportedly filed a patent for a smart ring that would provide electrocardiogram and smart home control features.
Given the focus today on the AI features of Samsung's new Galaxy smartphones, we're guessing Samsung will introduce AI-based tools to the Galaxy Ring at some point as well. Let's hope Samsung doesn't wait too long to share more.
